Were Will They Be Next?

I started with the idea of having one bracelet on a journey to spread positive energy and good thoughts after my surgery in May 2012. I was scared, I feared the worst of all possible outcomes. Cancer, even at it's best is not an easy thing to face.

After posting about what I was facing on my Beaded Bear's Nonsense blog, I received so many well wishes as comments on the blog, emails and even cards by snail mail.

I wanted to pay back in some fashion those good vibes I could not have done without. One bracelet became two, then four, and now.... there are 24 traveling the world!!

All I know is, is that this is a good thing. The bracelets are traveling all over the world.

I hope this continues on for a good long time.

Who can't use some Positive Energy and Good Karma?

Paisley Visits Marcia DeCoster

Marcia scores a visit from another bracelet! Follow her quest to have as many as possible HERE:

Paisley arrived on my doorstep as a complete surprise and one that I was very happy about.  You see....I think Paisley might be my all time favorite of the 24 bracelets.  As I tried to sort out why, it occurred to me, of course!  It has a matte black background.  It goes with every piece of clothing I own.  And it has my all time favorite bronze and a wonderful pattern.  I may have to add it to the list of things I would like to make some day.

It's very first day was a stormy day, as stormy as San Diego gets at least with a wonderfully dramatic sky.  We stopped by the Bay and took this shot with the skyline in the background.

It seems being so close to the holidays that Paisly acquired a bit of a.....ahem....drinking problem, enjoying first a martini and then a nigori sake.

We had family visiting plans in Santa Cruz and Paisley went along for the visit.  Malayna my second grand daughter is turning out to be quite the jewelry girl.  This is the second of the bracelets she has gotten to fondle and she likes it.

We took the opportunity to have breakfast with Rachel Nelson Smith who was showing off not only Paisley, but her baby bump as well.  Her and Colin will be new parents in March of this  year.  Isn't she glowing?

And finally, the report would not be complete without the requisite photo of Miss Maya, wearing her Paisley crown!
