Were Will They Be Next?

I started with the idea of having one bracelet on a journey to spread positive energy and good thoughts after my surgery in May 2012. I was scared, I feared the worst of all possible outcomes. Cancer, even at it's best is not an easy thing to face.

After posting about what I was facing on my Beaded Bear's Nonsense blog, I received so many well wishes as comments on the blog, emails and even cards by snail mail.

I wanted to pay back in some fashion those good vibes I could not have done without. One bracelet became two, then four, and now.... there are 24 traveling the world!!

All I know is, is that this is a good thing. The bracelets are traveling all over the world.

I hope this continues on for a good long time.

Who can't use some Positive Energy and Good Karma?

Hand to Heart: Peggy S.

Just some comments to note on the sharing and wearing of the traveling bracelet:

I wore it all day long for the two weeks that I had it. I decided to wear it with intention. I infused my healer energy into it so it could be released to others while I wore it. And I chose to receive as much healing as I could from it while wearing it, so it would bring that energy to all others who wore it later or were even in its presence.

This beautiful opportunity of healing appeared:
Prior to receiving the bracelet, a good friend of mine was tragically kicked in the face by a draft horse. (This friend had been through so much already, having healed through breast cancer.) The blow from the kick fractured many bones in her face, knocked out teeth and resulted in a serious concussion. Little did she know that she should have had surgery within the next few days to correct the fractures. Instead she travelled over the Christmas holidays and when she returned, she visited a plastic surgeon for a reevaluation and much craziness broke out. This was now during the time of my wearing of the traveling bracelet.

I am a dentist in a very busy office. I rarely have time to take a break all day because I am with patients. Right after the holidays is particularly crazy! Well, the first day she was back and finished seeing this doctor, I received a call mid morning at my office from her and then her husband and then the plastic surgeon and then the oral surgeon. Everyone was panicking because they felt she should have had surgery a week ago and now bones were healing and they were not healing well and suddenly the situation was urgent. My friend knew she could trust me and wanted me to quarterback the events. I was in the middle of one of the busiest weeks in my practice. I couldn't imagine how I was going to be able to help her in the way she needs it, because of my time constraints. Yet, I just kept hearing a loud voice saying I must help her and there is an abundance of time. Just start and take each step and it will get done. I looked down at my bracelet and realized this was the healing I was to be a part of!

Over the next 6 days, I made so many calls to so many doctors and set up appointments and called late at night for follow ups. Everyone was so worried it would be too late to have a successful surgery. I kept persevering. I was able to do this somehow around my unusually busy days and nights working. One late afternoon, I even caught myself running down my hall between a specialist and my office so I would not miss the window of availability to call another surgeon. Where this energy came from....well I am sure the intention infused into this beautiful bracelet. The night before the surgery, my friend and I spoke and shared thoughts. We both admitted we gave it our best and now we would just focus on positive affirmations and trust that it would be as it would be. She slept peacefully that night.

The surgery, although very long,  was a success much to everyone's surprise, except for my friend and me. I hope all the loving, healing energy that the bracelet soaked up during this time period will support many other lucky wearers.

Namaste, Peggy S.
