Were Will They Be Next?

I started with the idea of having one bracelet on a journey to spread positive energy and good thoughts after my surgery in May 2012. I was scared, I feared the worst of all possible outcomes. Cancer, even at it's best is not an easy thing to face.

After posting about what I was facing on my Beaded Bear's Nonsense blog, I received so many well wishes as comments on the blog, emails and even cards by snail mail.

I wanted to pay back in some fashion those good vibes I could not have done without. One bracelet became two, then four, and now.... there are 24 traveling the world!!

All I know is, is that this is a good thing. The bracelets are traveling all over the world.

I hope this continues on for a good long time.

Who can't use some Positive Energy and Good Karma?

Fiesta: Tami Wycoff

I received Fiesta on the 29th of December, 2012. I thought this was a great omen to start the new year out with some positive thoughts as 2012 had not been a great year for me. I also thought it was fitting that I received the 'Fiesta' bracelet as I live in Tempe, AZ which hosts the Fiesta Bowl every year during the first week of a new year. ( I just found out Tempe no longer hosts the Fiesta Bowl. It is now held down the road in Glendale. But that doesn't fit in my story...) This year's Fiesta Bowl was held on January 3 and was the host to the Oregon Ducks and Kansas State Wildcats. Just in case you may be interested the Ducks won 35-17.... Woo  Hoo... Go Ducks. ;o)

As you can see the bracelet looked quite lovely on my wrist, Of course I tried it on right away. Who doesn't??

Our next trip was a shopping trip trying to find new jeans for my daughter. Although we came home empty handed, Fiesta did find a pair of jeans she liked even if my daughter didn't. Christina thought they made her a$$ look big. Ha! Whatever!! Her big brother, Brian, will understand and laugh at this joke.

Finally, New Year's Eve arrived and Fiesta wanted to Party! Sent her on her way with my daughter, Christina. They seemed to have a good time as both of Fiesta's photos from that night are close to the festivities... Or should I say "adult libations. " They rang in the New Year in style and then found their way home in the wee hours of the new year.

Last, but not least, my lovely granddaughter, Journey, wanted to try on Fiesta and be part of the final leg of the journey. It looked adorable on her and she wanted to play dress up!! While I packed up Fiesta and said my final good byes, Journey wandered off to be Princess of the Day...

Thank you so much for letting me share in this wonderful adventure and I'm expecting great things to happen in 2013, much attributed to my time spend in the company of Fiesta.

  1. Sig,
I would love to host a bracelet in Florida.....knowing Bev Moon and our other ladies in the Mid South Bead Retreat Group and the Florida Jewelry Artist Retreat Group....they all have personal issues now and I would love to bring them great energy.
